Vincent York’s JAZZistry is an educational program that uses live performance to teach children and adults the story of jazz and its role in American history and culture.

JAZZistry's Goals:

  • Expand how we view our society
  • Cultivate a personal relationship with our history
  • Demonstrate the benefit and beauty of our multicultural heritage; and
  • Create the next generation of jazz lovers ... and players.

For over 30 years–in over 550 schools and public venues– JAZZistry has turned auditoriums into musical multicultural time machines, teaching new perspectives about our shared culture and history.
